ooo yea! i like squirrel's idea where you build a bit of the town so we can grasp the theme and the idea of empty plots for us to build on are handy too!

Right, I guess I'll just have to start. I think that wood would need to be the main building material and that any structure above water will have to be supported with wooden pier type "poles." I'll start probably Tuesday or Wednesday. Havent had very much free time recently. :D

So is this to be like a pirate town, or just a town town?

Can we build ships in the bay itself, or just at the docks?

It all depends on how big the bay actually is, if only one ship can fit, no. I haven't been able to get on Minecraft because I'm currently at my parents house who have hugesnet. The worst isp known to man. 1997 aol beats it. But you should be able to as long as its a scoop and not a junk. (Small boat, not GIGANTIC boat) And far enough away from the main part where the town will be. Also be prepared for it to become part of the town of its in the bay and we expand that much.
